Each class from K - 6 spend half an hour per week in the library. During that time students may study authors, enjoy fiction books for pleasure, develop research skills and learn to navigate the library.

Children are encouraged to borrow weekly to develop their reading skills, and this year there has been a significant increase in children borrowing and showing responsibility by returning their books.

Once again children will be taking part in the Premier's Reading Challenge from March through to August.
