2012 Junior Dance Group

The junior dance group for 2012 have been working tirelessly for several months perfecting their salior inspired dance 'Ship Ahoy!'. The Year 4 and Year 5 students had a fantastic first performance at The Taste of Macintyre. In Week 4 the group will be performing at the Inverell Dance Eisteddfod.

The Ross Hill Public School community wishes them, and Miss Russell the best of luck!

Ross Hill State Dance Group 2011

The 2011 State Dance Group chose to create a dance inspired by russian folk dancing. 'Bubushka' involved dedicated Year 5 and Year 6 students who enjoyed performaces at Martin Place, as well as performing at State Dance in Sydney (as videoed) and at CAPERS (Creative Arts in Public Education Regional Spectacular) in Tamworth. At CAPERS, the Ross Hill dance group also performed in a magic inspired dance - dressed as Harry Potter! Miss Russell, Mrs Foley and Mrs Townsend were impressed not only with the quality of the students abilities, but also their maturity and committment. Here is a video of 'Babushka' - as performed at the State Dance Competition:
